I’m the acting producer for this year’s senior film in the BYU Animation program. The film is called Kites and it’s about a young boy who misses his grandpa.

I won’t give away any more of the story right now, but I want to show a little clip of the film.

This is shot A_12, and it means a lot to me, because I have spent WEEKS trying to get this shot to render. It’s long, it’s got beautiful animation by Tyler Stott, and gorgeous lighting by Allan Bradshaw.

After errors, waiting, compositing, and rendering many passes, we’ve got something to show.
